In their 50th year, the Tannahill Weavers play mainly traditional music on vocals, fiddle, bagpipes, whistles, flute, and strings. Their high energy sets on pipes and strings are interspersed with traditional and modern Scottish song. Look for songs such as "Are you Sleeping Maggie?" "The Haughs of Cromdale" "The Highland Laddie" and of course, "Wild Mountain Thyme". The classic Scottish sounds, all in one evening...
Band members are Phil Smillie, flutes, whistles, mandolin and harmony vocals; John Martin, fiddle; Roy Gullane, guitar and lead vocals; and the latest member to join: Lorne McDougall; bagpipes, small pipes and whistles.
A new CD "Orach," on Compass Records will be available at the show.

Reserved seating available online for $25, or $23 for seniors, students and TFTM members. Tickets without fees available at the Folk Shop and Antigone Books. Door tickets $28; $26 seniors.
