A fiddle/guitar duo with an amazing sound that is based in traditional, but goes into elements of jazz and classical in mesmerizing sets of tunes. A sound and performance of Irish music not to be missed, Martin and Dennis have not been in Tucson in about 5 years, so this concert is a welcome return. Starts 7 pm due to being on Sunday night. "THE GREAT FIDDLER MARTIN HAYES SPEAKS WITH THE SOUL OF A POET. A REMARKABLE ARTISTE, THE ONLY ONE OF HIS TYPE." --- SUNDAY INDEPENDENT, IRELAND, Quote from the Irish Times, Ireland: "if your music ration was limited to a single concert, you'd be crazy or foolish if you didn't pass that precious time in the company of Martin Hayes and Dennis Cahill."
Check out the music clip, watch the video. or both. If you have never seen them live, give them at least 2-3 minutes and listen carefully--many aspects to there playing that a subtle and very well done--listen and you will to catch the full depth of what these two guys can do... and want to see them live..
